Eggs are great sources of protein and fat. The yolk contains 33% fat and is a rich source of linoleic acid. Improvement in skin and coat may be seen when eggs are given as supplements and this is due to the essential fatty acid content of the egg yolk. Egg is also a good source of vitamin A for cats.
Egg white contains many of the essential amino acids, including Taurine, required by cats. For these reasons you often see egg or dried egg on the ingredient list for pet foods.
I would still feed them a balanced cat food appropriate for their life stage as their main meal.
