Safee Dilamar? Empat Kelab Tu

Penyerang Selangor, Safee dilamar empat kelab luar negaraselepas beraksi cemerlang membantu Malaysia menamatkan kemarau 14 tahun dengan menjuarai Piala Suzuki AFF 2010.

Di antara empat kelab yang berminat ke atas penyerang berusia 26 tahun itu, tiga daripadanya ialah kelab dari Indonesia manakala satu lagi kelab dari Vietnam.

Tengku Abdullah menjelaskan bahawa FAM tidak menghalang mana-mana pemain Malaysia untuk berhijrah bagi menyertai saingan liga negara lain, namun jelas baginda, biarlah kelab atau liga tersebut terbukti lebih bagus dan kompetitif daripada saingan Liga Malaysia (Liga M).

“FAM tidak akan mengha- lang mana-mana pemain dari Malaysia menyertai atau berhijrah ke kelab atau liga di luar negara,” kata Tengku Abdullah ketika ditemui selepas mempengerusikan mesyuarat Jawatankuasa Eksekutif FAM semalam.

“Terpulang kepada pemain itu sendiri yang menentukannya. Tetapi kalau boleh biarlah kelab atau liga yang dipilih itu lebih bagus atau kompetitif lagi daripada Liga M. Kalau tidak, tiada guna pemain itu pergi jika ia hanya kerana wang dan bukan demi kariernya sendiri.
