Dianggarkan sebanyak dua bilion orang menonton perkahwinan yang disiarkan secara langsung di seluruh dunia itu sekali gus menjadi majlis paling ramai penonton dalam sejarah penyiaran moden.

Seorang penduduk tempatan yang menyaksikan perarakan, Sabry Darwish, 61, berkata, perkahwinan diraja itu menyebabkan ramai yang gembira dan bersatu.

WILLIAM memandu kereta Aston Martin selepas selesai upacara perkahwinannya dengan Kate.

"Semua orang merestui pasangan pengantin diraja," kata Darwish.

Ramai memuji pasangan William dan Kate kerana kedua-duanya dilihat berjiwa rakyat, kelakar dan sopan.

Keluarga Kate hanyalah rakyat kelas pertengahan tetapi mereka berjaya dalam perniagaan mengurus majlis hari lahir.

Walaupun mampu, Kate mengambil keputusan untuk makan gaji selepas tamat pengajian di universiti.

William yang mewarisi pesona ibunya, Puteri Diana membuat lawatan mengejut untuk mengucapkan terima kasih kepada orang ramai yang sanggup tidur di tepi jalan pada malam Khamis lalu.

The traditional multi-tiered fruitcake, decorated with 17 kinds of flowers, is designed to look “so light that it could float” – by Fiona Cairns, 56, a veteran baker of 25 years.

No one knows how many tiers the cake will have, but there will be no pillars holding them in place. (A special method of keeping the tiers apart has been invented by Rachel Eardley, designer of interiors for Valentino and Moschino, who is known for creating staircases that look as if they are floating.)

A chocolate biscuit cake is also being made especially for William by McVitie’s.

~Macam-macam la pula berita sempena Royal Wedding ni kan.
LONDON: Looks like Prince William and fianceeKate Middleton will have some unexpected guests at their wedding. A tourist has reportedly filmed a UFOhovering over Westminster Abbey — the venue for Friday's royal wedding. 

The two-and-a half-minute video footage shows a shimmering white object in a cloudless blue sky near Big Ben. It seems to move and shift shape — but to have three sections, like the starship USS Enterprise from TV's Star Trek. 

"First we thought it was a parachute but it was way too high up," the Sun quoted the tourist as posting it on the Internet. "It changed shape but stayed there for at least 30 minutes. Then I lost sight of it," the tourist added.
